Story:
The narrative centers on Shivansh, an 8-year-old boy who, after an accident, realizes he was once Rudra, a devout follower of Lord Shiva. His life was unjustly ended by Siddheshwar, a fraudulent Guru. Determined to seek justice for his past life, Shivansh embarks on a journey to the holy city to avenge Rudra's death.
Review:
'Luv You Shankar' disappoints as a mediocre film, lacking engagement and leaving viewers wanting more. Its elementary storyline fails to captivate, risking alienation even among its youngest audience members. The incorporation of animation adds some flair, featuring performances by talented actors like Shreyas Talpade and Abhimanyu Singh. However, standout performances are rare, with Hemant Pandey's portrayal of Madhav being a notable exception. Mann Gandhi's portrayal of Shivansh falls short, and Tanishaa's brief appearance adds little impact.
Director Sanjay S Ruia's attempt to revisit a familiar formula fails to capture the essence of both London and Banaras. The animated depiction of Lord Shiva lacks the potential for captivating visuals, missing an opportunity for more immersive storytelling. Despite promising glimpses of past events, the film ultimately falls short of delivering an engaging plot, resulting in disappointment for audiences.
