bubblegum (hindi-dubbed) Review

**Story:**

Aditya, known as DJ Aadi (Roshan Kanakala), hails from humble beginnings as the son of a meat shop owner (Chaitu Jonnalagadda) and a homemaker. Despite his modest upbringing, Aadi harbors aspirations of becoming a musician, fueled by his unwavering self-confidence, which he reaffirms in front of the mirror. On the other hand, Jhanvi (Maanasa Choudhary), hailing from a well-to-do and progressive family, has her life meticulously planned out, supported by her affluent parents. Their paths intersect, and despite their contrasting socio-economic backgrounds, they find themselves drawn to each other. While Aadi falls deeply in love, Jhanvi maintains a more casual approach. Their budding romance faces a crucial test when an awkward incident at Jhanvi’s birthday party threatens Aadi's honor and reputation. Will they be able to navigate through this challenging situation and find resolution?

**Review:**

In his cinematic debut, Roshan Kanakala, son of the renowned anchor Suma and actor Rajeev Kanakala, shines in "Bubblegum," helmed by Ravikanth Perepu, known for his work in "Kshanam." Paired alongside the captivating Maanasa Choudhary, the film unfolds a contemporary romantic drama, delving into the emotional and physical journeys of its protagonists, Aadi and Jhanvi.

Director Ravikanth Perepu adeptly weaves the narrative, particularly focusing on Aadi's character, a dreamer with a determined spirit. The film intricately constructs Aadi's world, portraying his environment with rich detail and symbolism, including a mix of props that reflect his mindset. Conversely, the depiction of Jhanvi and her affluent background effectively contrasts Aadi's humble origins. While the narrative skillfully intertwines various elements, some parts of the story lack a seamless flow, occasionally feeling superficial.

Roshan Kanakala delivers a promising performance in his debut role, infusing Aadi with a compelling mix of drama, dance, and action. His portrayal showcases depth and potential, marking him as a newcomer to watch in the industry. Maanasa Choudhary complements him well, adding glamour and substance to her portrayal of the female lead.

Chaitu Jonnalagadda, in a supporting role as Yadgiri, Aadi’s father, leaves a lasting impression with his impeccable dialogue delivery and body language. The ensemble cast, including Viva Harsha, Kiran Macha, Anu Hasan, Anannya Akulaa, Harsha Vardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, and others, contributes significantly to the narrative.

The film's musical score by Sricharan Pakala, featuring tracks like "Habibi Jilebi," "Izzat," and "Easy Peasy," blends seamlessly with the film’s atmosphere. Suresh Ragutu's cinematography effectively captures the essence of the story.

In essence, "Bubblegum" explores the intricacies of love, ambition, and self-respect. While it traverses familiar themes of romance and drama, it does so with a fresh perspective and notable performances, making it an engaging cinematic experience.
